I wanted to share this in case it might help someone out who is planning a wedding. I recently got married and decided to cut corners to save some money. For our dessert I made cake mix cookies and I was able to get 24 cookies out of one box of cake mix. I wrapped them in cookie bags and put some stickers on them that I got from Amazon, then stuck them in a cookie jar that I already had. It was crazy cheap and so easy! They were also a big hit. All 60 cookies were gone by the end of the night.
Recipe:
1 box cake mix
1/2 cup oil
2 eggs
Whatever mix ins you like. I did red velvet with white chocolate chips, and chocolate with white chocolate chips.
Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes. I always take them out right before they’re done and let them finish cooking on the pan so they don’t overcook and get hard once they’re cool.
