Half a bag of frozen meatballs that I happened to have leftover
A can of cream of mushroom soup
An envelope of onion soup mix
A brick (8oz) of cream cheese
A few splashes of milk as needed
Shredded cheese (I had a partial bag of “pizza blend” in the fridge)
Pasta (I used about 3/4 of a 16oz box)
Brown the meatballs either in the oven or on the stove.
Cook the pasta to your liking
Mix meatballs, cream of mushroom soup, onion soup mix, and cream cheese. Stir.
Add cooked pasta. Stir more. If sauce is too thick add a splash of milk and stir again
Mix in shredded cheese
I did all of mine (except cooking the pasta) in my instant pot. It took a minute for the cream cheese to soften but you could always soften if beforehand if you want. Topped it with a bit more cheese and let it warm up a little more.
Feel free to add anything you think would be tasty. My kids suggested I add garlic (I should have thought of that already because we LOVE garlic!). If you like a lot of mushrooms it might be good to add some sliced ones. But seriously this is a winner
